RusDespite the current crisis development in the Russian economy over the past three years, there has been a steady growth in the supply of the veterinary products from abroad. In the first half of 2016th import volume was €134 million. It’s higher than same period in the previous year on 18,4%. Demand for the imported products also increased (dynamics in packages at an annual rate made up 5,7%).
List of imported veterinary products include hundreds of titles. From the beginning of current year almost 550 products were imported, and with the various forms of production — 950 items.
According to analyst companies RNC Pharma® largest volume of important veterinary products at first-second quarter-end falls on immune system stimulators (mainly vaccines for poultry and swine), they take almost 50% of import in money terms.
The second largest market segment are systemic antibacterial products, their share in total import volume amounted to 25.6%. Closes the three most popular veterinary medicinal products are the antiparasitic products, insecticides and repellents, 11,5%.
