Russian poultry farms gained rights to supply products to Iraq

According to the results of the inspection conducted by the Iraqi specialists in April 2017, three Russian poultry production enterprises (CJSC “Stavropol Broiler” branch of Blagodansky, LLC “Poultry farm”. Poultry farm “ Vasilyevskaya”) were given the right to supply their products to Iraq.

In the process, according to the requirements of the Iraqi party, an economic entity interested in exporting its products to Iraq must independently initiate this procedure jointly with the Iraqi importer. The next stage in obtaining admission is the visit of Iraqi specialists to familiarize themselves with the work of enterprises. FSVPS, for its part, is ready to send its experts to participate in the inspection.

However, because there is currently a ban on the supply of Russian poultry meat and products in connection with outbreaks of avian influenza, it is necessary to regionalize the Russian Federation for influenza zones in order to obtain the right to supply poultry products to Iraq. To this end, a visit of Iraqi colleagues to Russia in the near future is planned for consultations on this issue.
